A new adventure in blogging...
I was recently accepted to the SuzyQ Scraps Creative Team (we're called QTs)!! However, I'm not making layouts like you'd expect. I'm on the Blog Team and will be making 3 posts to SuzyQ's blog each month. I'm very excited for this new adventure and think it's an awesome opportunity. Today was my very first post!
For my first post, I'm hosting the December Monthly Blog Challenge. Every month a challenge is posted on the first Monday. I decided to do a scraplift challenge and everyone is welcome to play along. I'd love to see some layouts using SuzyQ's kits, but all layouts are accepted. Oh, and one random participant will win $10 to SuzyQ's store at Scrap Orchard. How awesome is that?!? Please make the time to play along this month!
Get all the full details about the challenge HERE. While you're there, subscribe to or follow the blog to stay informed of all the great deals SuzyQ has happening soon. Her design-iversary celebration is coming up, as well as a one day 50% off sale. Plus there are all kinds of tips, tricks, freebies, coupons, challenges, and random tidbits shared every day!

Snowy Night

The Scrappy Kat has a new freebie kit out and it's a collab with two other Stuff to Scrap designers: JW-Digiscraps and Flowerscraps. Each of them will be releasing parts of the kit all this week on their blogs, so be sure to visit them all. As a grand finale, all of the CT members will have Gift Tags made using the kit on their blogs as freebies. So be sure to come back here on Friday to get mine!
Here's the layout I did using this fun kit:

It's a Country Christmas
Nicole is releasing her Christmas kit today and it is really fun to work with. The colors are great because the are universal, but not too traditional. Nor are they super trendy, so any pages you make won't look out-dated anytime soon. Be sure to stop by her blog because there is a freebie add-on and a coupon code!
There is also a set of coordinating cardstocks available:

And a set of quickpages from some of the CT layouts:

Here's the page I created! This was last year and was my son's first Christmas. He was just a few months old, so it was just another day to him. I'm really looking forward to this year's celebration because he is now just over a year old and I think he will be much more involved!

If you like my layout, it's created using one of Nicole's newest templates! You can get this set of templates in her store:
