Cuttlebug Challenge Card

There are many blogs around that have weekly or monthly challenges, but I've never had the time to really participate in them. Now that I'm on Maternity Leave, I've been able to get back into crafting and decided to try a challenge or two.

One of the many talented ladies from the Cricut Messageboard has started a new challenge blog The Cuttlebug Spot. This is my entry into the first challenge posted. It was to use ink inside the embossing folder!

As you can see it leaves the ink on the un-embossed parts. Pretty neat. I used ColorBox MetalExtra Pigment Ink in Platinum (it's kinda silverish & goldish at the same time) on green cardstock with the paisley embossing folder. This type of ink is pretty thick so I used a brayer to apply it to the folder. A few Studio G stamps and some gold ribbon & you have one cute little Fall card! Oh, and the pearl brad is from Oriental Trading.
