That's Groovy Baby Layout & Freebie

Click preview to visit store for purchase!

The Scrappy Kat has a revamped kit being re-released today. That's Groovy Baby was a freebie mini-kit Katina did during a design competition but she's redone it and made it even better than before. Here is a layout I made for the Stuff to Scrap "Scrap What?" challenge. This month the challenge was to scrap about movies:

Be sure to stop by Katina's Blog to check out the other layouts done by her CT and see what freebies they have available. There are several 12x12 quickpages and a few other Brag Book Pages. Here's my freebie:

Product Spotlight: Lazy Days of Summer by DDBN

This is day 2 of 3 for my product spotlight posts about some of the great items available from Digi-Designs by Nicole. Don't forget her Blogoversary sale which is 40% off today and 20% off tomorrow. It's higher today because today is the actual anniversary of starting her blog. Congrats Nicole!

The kit I'm highlighting today is called Lazy Days of Summer. The reason I picked it is for it's color palette...not your usual "summer" colors. These are rich colors in purple and yellow with a touch of blue and green. Simply Stunning! Click the preview to go to the store at Stuff to Scrap to purchase this at a great price!

Product Spotlight: Dreamin by DDBN

I think I've mentioned this kit before, but it's just too cute to not mention again since Digi-Designs by Nicole is celebrating her Blogoversary with a sale. You can get this awesome kit for 30% off today, 40% off tomorrow, or 20% off Wednesday. It's geared towards Disney pictures, but I'm sure it could be used for other topics. In addition to the full kit, there are some add-ons...some flairs and a set of quickpages! All images are linked to the store at Stuff to Scrap!

Product Spotlight: Cherish by DDBN

Digi-Designs by Nicole has a great kit called Cherish at the Stuff to Scrap store. It looks like a great kit to do a "Book of Me" with. I've wanted to do one for several years, but it was just not one of those projects I was able to tackle while I was paper scrapping. Maybe now that I'm doing things digitally I can start working on it! Click on the preview to visit her store to pick up this fun kit!

Hot Fun in the Summertime Wrap Up

I hope everyone is enjoying the kit I created with The Scrappy Kat. As a wrap up we're giving out quickpages that we've made. And the entire CT has some as well. Visit Katina's blog to get links to the CT member's blogs. Click the preview to download mine:

Summer Surprise from JW Digiscraps

The newest kit from JW Digiscraps is called Summer Surprise. It's a freebie kit that Janice has been giving away on her blog the past couple of days. I jumped at the opportunity to do a layout for her & then turn it into a quickpage to share with everyone!! If you haven't downloaded the full kit head over to her blog and get it! It's super cute, and to prove it, here is my layout:

Click this preview to download the quickpage:

Happy as a Lark Layouts & Quickpage

A new kit is out from Andrea and it's very cute. "Happy as a Lark" is done in rich green, red, yellow & black. I love the cute little bird! Here are some layouts I have created with this kit:

I "borrowed" the title of the kit for the title of this page.

And here is your quickpage...Click preview to download!

Day Two: Hot Fun in the Summertime

Thanks to everyone for the kind comments about my first kit! I sure hope you get some good pages out of it. Today, I have the rest of the kit for download. The elements and alpha! But don't forget tomorrow I will have a QP for download as will Katina and the rest of the CT. After downloading & getting to use everything I'd love to hear any comments about the full kit, good or bad! I'm pretty thick skinned so don't worry about hurting my feelings...

Don't forget to head over to Katina's Blog to get her 2nd part:

Hot Fun in the Summertime - My first kit!!

So a few weeks ago one of the designers whose CT I'm on (Katina, aka The Scrappy Kat) asked if I'd like to try designing and work on a collaboration kit with her. I was a little hesitant at first because I've never designed and prior to her asking I'd never even thought about trying to do it. Sure, I made an alpha for the STS July Blog Train, but a whole kit was a big deal! In the end I figured it would be a good experience. So we picked a color palette & theme and away I went on my first adventure in trying to design a kit.

This is the result and overall I think for a first kit from a newbie designer it's pretty decent. I even created a few of my own elements from extractions! Overall, it was kinda stressful and I had to stay up pretty late a few nights in a row to have "baby free" time to work. We'll be releasing the papers today, the elements & alpha tomorrow, and finally some quickpages!

To give you an idea of what the kit has to offer I'll post a few of the pages done by The Scrappy Kat's CT:

By Tara:

By Ashley:

By Beth:

Here is a preview of Katina's portion and you can click it to visit her blog to download her part:

Here are the papers! Click to download and come back tomorrow for the rest:

Bright Little Girl from MGD

There is a new kit at the Stuff to Scrap store from Mad Genius Designs. I got a chance to work with the sampler mini-kit being offered as part of the Use It or Lose It Challenge this month and that little taste had me hooked. The bright, bold colors are really fun and there was only a few pieces. I can't imagine how much fun the full kit will be! Kit includes 33 elements, 12 papers and a full alpha. Take a look at this preview and then click on it to be taken to the store to buy it.

This weeks $2 Tuesday deals @STS

The Scrappy Kat has 2 different kits on sale this week for 2 bucks:
